Summer California Vistors

fair warning: this is a long post!  The computer had heart failure.  We love company!  It has been so fun having Ashley, Crewe and Dayne here for their annual trip to Montana.

We have had lots of fun.  Two trips to the arcade for Soul Calaber II $.50  1/2 hr game, reading, game playing with the Grandparents, sharing a diet coke with Uncle Uncle Wimp and of course tons of dog loving.

Dayne loves playing at Pioneer Park
Crewe got to take tennis lesson from Aaron Lyon again and they took on Tiger.
We went to the new water park the Oasis. Had a great time and loved the lazy river.  Dayne did the water slide 3 times, and on the last time she decided it was scarey.

On our way to Big Sky we stopped in Livingston at the old time drive in, Marks for Wilcoxson's ice cream. yum

Tiger had a conference at the Big Sky Resort so we got to come along and enjoy beautiful big sky.
While Tiger was in his not so interesting conference we rode the chair lift up the mountain.  Going up the mountain Dayne shouted "nature is beautiful" and she was so right.  Coming down the mountain we saw a mountain biker that was changing his shirt and she shouted "put a shirt on."  whoops

Also enjoyed their huge hot tub.  We thought it was a little hot tub inside and an outdoor pool and it was delightful.

We also stopped at the Lewis and Clark Caverns.  It is a mile hike up the mountain before you get inside where it is 50 degrees.

The Lewis and Clark Caverns with its stalagmites and stalactites and tight spaces was very interesting and pretty fun.

We spent the night in the historic Sacajawea Hotel in Three Forks.  We took the "long cut" to the caverns and went through Amsterdam, Montana where they have this cute windmill and no Mint Bar.

Checked another thing off our "someday we will do" list and stopped and saw Lucy the Bear at the Grizzle Rescue, outside of Bozeman.  They actually have 5 bears but Lucy likes to be out by herself.

We have had a great time!  Lots of good eats, crafts, movies and shopping and Dayne lots her front tooth.  And that's just the first week.
